I don't know if these have already set a record high for a pad of Character Sheets, but at £114 ($180) plus shipping, they are certainly headed that way. If you are not prepared to spend quite so much on some Old School Character Sheets, why not head over to my Indiegogo Campaign and grab a pad for a fraction of the price?
In fact, for $180 you can have 3,000 of my OSR Character Sheets. However, I can't guarantee they will bring quite the same rate of return should you decide to put them away for 34 years before listing them on ebay (if they did though, they would be worth over $6,000!).
Wow! The bidding is now up to £132 ($208). I'll update this with the final price when the auction is over.

ReplyDeleteI have to say that these are some of the coolest character sheets I have seen for D&D. The cover art is excellent. I would love to figure out which artist did the illustration. It never ceases to amaze me how much money collectors are willing to shell out for obscure items!
Thanks for the link. I wondered which ones they were. I almost certainly owned a pad of those, but they were possibly a later version without the D&D name on them. I distinclty remember shading in the cool AL boxes on the bottom corner. I think I'll have a go a designing a version of those to include as a PDF freebie with my Indiegogo ones.
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing this one out! I love that the guy started his eBay auction at 99p and now has £132 worth of character sheets. @Shane, the cover looks like the work of Alan Hunter who did a bit of work in the early White Dwarf Magazine (cover for issue 3, and several spot illos), and the original Fiend Factory header, and the Fiend Folio (Bullywugs for example).
