Squarehex Launch FREE Fridge Magnets

I've now added the new A3 and A5 pads to the Squarehex webstore.  Also just in today, are some fun Fridge Magnet versions of our Symbol Card.

For a limited time, every order large or small will get a FREE fridge magnet and a FREE Pocket Guide to Geomorphs PocketMod.  Every order also comes with a FREE standard Symbol Card but that will be ongoing after the launch promotion.  If you want extra cards or guides they can all be bought on the site.

The new pads in the store are:
There are also a couple of bundle deals containing the new pads:
  • Bundle1 contains: 1 A3 Grid pad, 1 A3 Hex pad and 1 A5 Hex pad. It costs £7.90 which gives a saving of almost 20% against the individual selling prices.
  • Bundle2 (pictured below) contains 2 A3 Grid pads, 2 A3 Hex pads, 2 A5 Hex pads, 4 PoGI pads and a Plastic Card Ruler. It costs £16.90 which gives a saving of over 20% against the individual selling prices.

Final Symbol/Icon/Key Card Design

I've now finished the design for my Symbol cards, which will also be doubling up as business cards.  The images below are the proofs that I signed off this morning.  The other extras for the PoGI kickstarter are all ready to go, and I plan to fire off orders for them as soon as the Kickstarter funds are transferred on Monday.

Last Few Hours of the PoGI Kickstarter

As I type this there's just 3 hours left until the end of Pad of Geomorphic Intent Kickstarter.  The seventh stretch goal has now been met and funding is sitting at £2,348 which towers above the original £150 goal.  The picture below shows what backers get at the 8 pad level, which costs just £5 for UK backers, and £11 for Overseas backers.  The bottom image shows the add-ons that are available to backers.

Guess the Dungeon #26

This is the last dungeon in this series as the Kickstarter that it is promoting ends tomorrow.

For the last dungeon I have a portion of a building taken from an adventure.  It is quite likely that more copies of this adventure exist in print than any other adventure written.

And here's my last geomorph for a while.  I may pick up drawing these again on a weekly basis as eventually, when I've got 100 of them done, I'd like to release them as a low cost PDF.

Please Take One of My Business Cards

I've not had time to do any maps today as I've been working on a Map Icon card.  This was on of the Stretch Goals in the PoGI Kickstarter and I'm so pleased with it, that I think I'll actually use these as real business cards (just need to remember to put my name, email and web address on the back).

The back will also have faded versions of all the symbols, with a text key to say what they all represent.  All backers ordering two pads or more via the Kickstarter will get one of these (backers ordering 8 pads get 2).  The main idea behind them is to allow symbols to be traced by putting the card under the map sheet.

Guess the Dungeon #25

Here's today's map which offers both the traditional top-down and a side view, but where is it taken from?

And here's my map of a bridge over a chasm.

Guess the Dungeon #24

As the PoGI Kickstarter enters the last few days, there's just four more of these to go.

Can you name the dungeon that the map portion below is taken from?

And for my map I have a double sheet Throne Room.

Guess the Dungeon #23

Here's another difficult map portion to identify.

And below is my fourth geomorph featuring an underground waterway, along with a photo of all four together.

Guess the Dungeon #22

Here's today's map.  Can you name the source?

For mine I've done another sewer map.  I'll add a fourth tomorrow and post an image of how all four might be used together.

Guess the Dungeon #21

Today's map is a building floorplan but can you name the building and the adventure it is taken from?

It took ages to draw, thanks to all those individual chairs and other details.  Whilst drawing it I started thinking about drawing a whole village in this format, with a sheet for each floor of a building, and another one for the rooftop.

Here's my geomorph for today.  I drew one with a sewer at the start of the run and thought it was about time I added one that could connect to it.  There won't be any geomorphs tomorrow, but I'll be back with another pair on Monday.

Guess the Dungeon #20

Here's the next mystery map.

And here's a geomorph depicting a sealed pit that leads to the underworld.

Guess the Dungeon #19

Here's another map fragment to identify.  This is not a TSR module as I think they are all starting to look the same.

And here's my map for today.

Guess the Dungeon #18

I've got another 10 or so of these to do, and I'm almost through my stack of modules.  However, I've got a second pile of mostly magazines that I'm sure I'll be able to find some maps in.

Here's tonight's map.

And here's another one of mine.

PoGI Kickstarter Update

The Pad of Geomorphic Intent Kickstarter is still going strong.  With 11 days still to go it is currently funded at 868% of the starting goal.  The project has smashed through 5 stretch goals already, adding some great extras.  The £5  reward is by far the most popular and gets backers the following:

Guess the Dungeon #16

Here's today's guess the dungeon.  I think it's another easy one, but even the easy ones can be tricky when you only get a portion of the map to go on.

And here's my geomorph for the day.  This one features a dungeon arena complete with cells for the unwilling combatants.

Guess the Dungeon #15

Here's a new mystery map section.  Can you name the source?

And here's another Geomorph of mine.

After yesterday's very tricky map, here's an easier one.

And here's my geomorph.
